Níccolo José — Pintô "Monuments to the Monsoon" Exhibit

MONUMENTS TO THE MONSOON

Pintô Art Museum presents Monuments to the Monsoon, a sculpture exhibition by Joel Alonday, Agnes Arellano, Daniel Dela Cruz, JP Duray, Miguel Miro, Níccolo José, and Sam Peñaso.

Invited sculptors and installation artists create pieces inspired by, refer to, or interact with, rain and the monsoon season in the Philippines. The exhibition of works takes place in both indoor and outdoor spaces. These aspire to create poetry with an awareness of environment and of seasons, to its reality or its lyricism, to memory or to history, in both personal and public experiences of rain, storms, and the winds that drive them from sea to island.

Opening Reception, 2017 September 10, 3PM
Exhibit runs until December 31, 9AM to 6PM
Pintô Art Museum, #1 Sierra Madre St. Grand Heights Subd., Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo City, Rizal, Philippines
